You may be eligible if you:

  • Are aged 19 or older

  • Live or work in Cheshire or Warrington

  • Have the right to work in the UK - More info here

  • Have lived in the UK for 3+ years

  • Have not attended a Skills Bootcamp after April 2025

We’ll claim funding for your training after you complete the course and will support your success — but you must be committed to learning and applying your new skills.

At the end of the course, we’ll require either an action plan if self-employed, or confirmation from your employer that you’ve taken on new responsibilities if you are co-funded. We have easy to use templates for both.

Whistleblowing involves entering a 'whistleblowing' webform on the 'Contact the Department for Education' page.

Whistleblowing entries for Skills Bootcamps must be clearly marked as 'Skills Bootcamps' and submitted via the DfE's whistleblowing submission process, where they will be escalated to the relevant policy team.
